Video recipes are useful for trying out new dishes, especially when you've never seen anyone make them from scratch before. It's interesting to watch other people's style in the kitchen too, even if they are different from your own. I love to watch Jamie Oliver mash and bash things together and admire the frantic precision of many of the Iron Chefs, even though my personal cooking style is not really like either.
If you are new to cooking Korean food, then video recipes showing you how to prepare fresh ginger or make chapchae are useful, and Korean folk missing home might like to learn how to recreate childhood favorites like Dubu Jorim (Korean Fried Tofu) or Maejagwa (Korean Ginger Cookies). If you're just playing around or want to try something new, then check out how to make a shiso mojito (but prepare with kaenip) or how to roast chestnuts at home.
