Spicy Korean Pork Ribs

Daeji Galbi

Naomi Imatome Yun
These Korean Pork Ribs (Daeji Galbi) are succulent, sweet, and spicy. They require some advance marinade preparation, but then are easily cooked on the grill or in the broiler.

Prep Time: 6 hours

Cook Time: 12 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs pork ribs, baby back or spare*
  • Korean pork marinade

Preparation:

  1. If ribs are not separated, cut between bones.
  2. Coat well with marinade.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours (10-12 hours is best).
  4. Grill over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes per side. If you are cooking the ribs in the oven, broil in a 350 degree oven for about an hour, turning once.
    (Serves 4)

*Baby back or spare ribs are best, but you can also use country style ribs if you trim the fat.
